Enabling FAST channels

Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST Free Ad-Supported Television) allows end user access to free TV channels. The  content on FAST channels is free to watch because it is supported by advertising.

To provide FAST, the content provider needs the unique identifier for the device playing the channel. This identifier is shared with the content provider when FAST is enabled for a channel.

You can enable FAST Free Ad-Supported Television for an existing channel, or when you create a new channel.

To enable a FAST Free Ad-Supported Television channel

1. Navigate to IPTV Channels > Channels.

2. Create a new channel, or open an existing channel by selecting its name in the Title column.

3. In the Output streams section, add an output stream or edit an existing one.

4. In the Linear Stream section, select the FAST channels link check box.

5. Select Save.
