New features​

  • The update_channel_list event now supports additional transport stream parameters.

  • From backend version 6.32.0, a new limit_exceeded event is available for recurring recordings.

  • The application now always reports the current application version, which can be viewed in the Ministra Pro administrator panel.

Improvements​

  • From backend version 6.32.0, in the EPG for a channel, the season and episode number for a program is displayed next to the program name.

  • You can change the font of the application to Montserrat.

  • When a 404 response is returned, the specific error is now displayed in the message.

  • Users can now switch between TV channels with improved speed.

Bug fixes​

  • Fixed an issue where the end user was logged out of the application when the Network Time Protocol (NTP) server could not be reached.

New features​

  • You can now display an external link to your website on the login screen of the Ministra Pro application.

  • You can now play a video when end users open the Ministra Pro end-user application. If the video fails to load, a progress indicator is displayed.

Improvements​

  • The minimum supported API version has been updated from v21 to v23.

  • Updated the VLC media player library to support 16 kB alignment.

  • Startup time for multicast streaming is now faster through VLC caching configuration.

  • Improved the format of TV channel information.

  • For IPTV channels, the background colour of a TV channel logo can now be changed to improve visibility.

Bug fixes​

  • Fixed the Bulgarian translation for the name of the TV Guide.

  • Fixed an issue where long video names are displayed incorrectly in full screen and preview mode.

  • Fixed an issue where a critical storage error blocked access to the application.

  • Fixed an issue where entering the parental control PIN for a protected series did not unlock all episodes of that series.

  • Fixed a text formatting issue in the confirmation popup displayed when a device is deleted.
    The device name is now highlighted in bold.

  • Fixed a crashing issue when selecting the support option on our website.

  • Fixed an invalid Accept Language header that stopped the channels list from loading when specifying a preferred language.

  • Fixed a translation issue for the Serbian language.

  • Fixed an issue where changing the password for the parental control PIN made restricted content visible.

  • Fixed an issue where an internet connection notification message no longer displayed when selecting the area outside of the notification.

New features​

  • Audio descriptions are now supported.

  • New channel navigation buttons allow end users to move up and down through the list of TV channels.

Improvements​

  • Removed the forward and backward buttons for TV channels without catch up available.

  • Removed the Fit/Fill button from portrait mode.

  • Improved EPG cache clearing on devices with slow internal memory (Amazon Fire).

  • Program genre is displayed next to the time instead of the date.

  • Improved the Device Management feature in the application.

  • Improved the Notifications Management screen.

Bug fixes​

  • Fixed an issue where the application restarted if a user reselected a language that was already active.

  • Fixed an issue where negative scenarios being processed on screen, for example, the application no longer displays a blank screen when the internet connection is lost while loading the VOD screen.

  • Fixed an issue where sections were ordered incorrectly in VOD screens.

  • Fixed an icon display issue in light theme when no VOD content was available.

New features​

  • Android 15 is now supported.

  • End users can use the new Notifications screen to review, edit, cancel, or clear all of their program reminders in the EPG.

  • When the Device limit reached error message is displayed, end users can now remove an existing device from the devices list.

  • While using the application, backend events are now fetched in the background and displayed as messages instead of displaying only when end users log in.

  • End users can now use a pinch gesture to view programs in full screen.

  • End users can now add a password to restrict certain NPVR content, for example, to prevent minors accessing unsuitable content.

  • The following languages are now supported:

    • Bulgarian
    • Catalan
    • Polish

Bug fixes​

  • Fixed an issue where VOD episode times lasting more than one hour displayed in minutes. Episode times now display in hours and minutes, for example, 1 h 32 rather than 0 h 92 m.

  • Fixed an issue where the Back to Live button overlapped the program timer on small devices.

  • Fixed an issue where, in the EPG, users could not add notifications for future programs.

  • Fixed an EPG scrolling issue after selecting Preview > Dock > Preview for non-archive channels.

  • Fixed a crashing issue when end users switched from TV Guide or Search to the picture-in-picture view.

  • Fixed a misalignment issue where the error banner overlapped the application controls.

  • Fixed a flickering date issue when end users quickly switched between days of the week.

  • Fixed a missing channel number issue when end users long tapped on a TV channel.

  • Fixed an issue where the default audio option changed position in the list of audio options after it was selected.

  • Fixed an issue where a watched program was not displaying as watched in the TV Guide.
