Why aren't streams working on Tizen and WebOs TVs?

LG WebOS televisions and Samsung Tizen televisions (except those manufactured in 2018) do not support M3U8 format used by the HLS protocol. The URL provided to these devices must be MPEG-DASH.

For VOD, you can use automatic link generation to customize the URL that is provided to a device based on rules. For IPTV channels, add additional output streams with Tizen and WebOS filters.

How to enable temporary URL protection?

You must enable temporary URLs in the Ministra Pro administrator panel and adjust the backend configuration.
