Using MAGic Remote

MAGic Remote allows end users to use a mobile device to operate a MAG Linux STB.

MAGic Remote is included in the Ministra Pro Mobile end-user application for Android and Apple iOS mobile devices.

End users can use MAGic Remote to operate the following MAG Linux STBs:

• MAG250
• MAG254
• MAG256
• MAG322
• MAG324
• MAG420
• MAG424
• MAG520
• MAG522
• MAG524
• MAG540
• MAG544

To use MAGic Remote, the following must be true:

• For customised versions of Ministra Pro Mobile, MAGic Remote is included.
• MAGic Remote is included in the service package.
• The end user installed Ministra Pro Mobile on their mobile device.
• The mobile device and the STB are on the same network.

To use MAGic Remote

1. In the mobile device, open the Ministra Pro Mobile app, and select .
2. In the settings for the mobile device, search for the MAG Linux STB you want to control.
3. Connect to the MAG Linux STB by following the on-screen instructions.
   The MAGic Remote is displayed, and you can use it to operate the MAG Linux STB.
