Publishing VOD content

To make VOD content available to watch, you must publish the relevant video files. For example, to publish a TV series, you must publish the video files for the episodes you want to make available.

After you publish a video file, you can make the content immediately available or you can schedule the date from which the content is available.

On the VOD > Movie list screen, in the Status column, the publication status of your VOD content is shown by the following icons:

	The VOD content does not have a published file
	The VOD content is published and available to watch
	The VOD content is published and scheduled

Publish a movie

Publish a movie and select the date on which you want o make it available.

To publish a movie

1. Navigate to VOD > Movie list.

2. Hover over the name of the movie you want to publish, and select .

3. From the drop-down, select Publish, and do one of the following:

   • If you want the movie to be immediately available, select Today.
   • If you want to schedule the date from which the movie becomes available, in the calendar, select the date.

4. Select Publish.
   The movie is available to watch.

Publish a TV series

When you publish a TV series, you must publish the video files for the episodes you want to make available.

To publish an episode

1. Navigate to VOD > Movie list.
2. In the Catalogue column, select the name of the TV series for which you want to publish an episode.
3. To display the list of episodes, select the title of the season.
4. For each episode you want to publish, do the following:
   1. Select the title of the episode.
   2. Hover over the video file details, and select .
   3. From the drop-down, select Publish, and do one of the following:
      • If you want the episode to be immediately available, select Today.
      • If you want to schedule the date from which the episode becomes available, in the calendar, select the date.
   4. Select Publish.
      You can now publish the TV series.

To publish a TV series

Before you publish a TV series, make sure you publish at least one episode in the series.

1. To publish the TV series, navigate to VOD > Movie list.

2. Hover over the name of the series you want to publish, and select .

3. From the drop-down, select Publish, and do one of the following:

   • If you want the TV series to be immediately available, select Today.
   • If you want to schedule the date from which the TV series becomes available, in the calendar, select the date.

4. Select Publish.
   The TV series is available to watch.
