Adding TV series
You can add, edit, schedule, and delete TV series.
When you add a TV series, you can create multiple seasons and an episode structure.
After you add a TV series, to make the content available to your end users, you need to publish the video files. You can also schedule the date on which the episodes of a season are available to watch.

A TV series is only available to subscribers when it is included in a service package.
To add a TV series

Navigate to VOD > Movie list.

Select + Add movie.

On the Basic screen, add the relevant data.
Get detailed information on the available settings -
Select Save & Forward.

On the Movie Information screen, add the relevant data.

On the Screenshots screen, add the images you want to use.
infoYou can upload a JPG, JPEG, or PNG file. The maximum file size is 1 MB.
We recommend using the following settings:
- For the cover image, use portrait orientation with aspect ratio 3:4. If you used autocomplete, the cover image may already be added.
- For screenshots, use landscape orientation with aspect ratio 4:3.

Select Save & Forward.

On the Files screen, select Add season.

In Original title, add a title for the season.

In Description, add a description for the season.

Select Save.

For each episode you want to add to the season, do the following:
- Select the Add episode.
- In Original Title, add a title for the episode.
- In Date, select the date from which you want to make the episode available.
- Description, add a description.
- In Screenshot, add an image.
- Select Save.
- To add the video file to the episode, select +, and add the relevant data.

When you have finished, select Close.
The series is added ready for publishing.

Basic settings

| Title | The name of the VOD. This is the title shown in the device app. The title must be unique within Ministra Pro. You can use letters A to Z, numbers 0 to 9, and the following symbols: !@#$^&*()_-+:;,. |
| Original title | The title in the native language. The original title is used to retrieve autocomplete details. |
| Autocomplete | Defines the database used to retrieve the details of the video. |
| TMDB ID | The ID for the VOD on The Movie Database (TMBD). |
| Category | The category of the VOD. |
| Genre | The genres that the VOD is included in when a viewer filters by genre. You can select up to four genres. |
| Type | A Single series is a single video, such as a movie or a one-off TV program. A Series allows you to add multiple seasons and an episode structure. This value may be filled by autocomplete. If you select the type before selecting Autocomplete, this value can be used to select the correct entry in the database. |
| Year | The year the movie was released. This value may be filled by autocomplete. |
| Period of showing | info Available only when Series is selected in Type. The years between which the series was broadcast. |
| Parental control | Indicates if the VOD must be restricted. |
Movie information settings
The Movie information settings may be pre-filled by the autocomplete on the Basic settings screen. These values are all displayed on the device application.

| TMBD rating | The rating of the VOD on The Movie Database (TMDB). This value is entered by the autocomplete function. |
| Duration | The length, in minutes, of the VOD, for example, 126. |
| Country | The country in which the VOD is produced. |
| Director | The name of the director of the VOD. |
| Actors | The names of the actors in the VOD. |
| Movie description | A description of the VOD. |
| Comments | An internal comment about the VOD. This information is only shown in the Ministra Pro administrator panel when editing a VOD entry. |
| MPAA rating | The rating assigned to the VOD by the Motion Picture Association. |
| Age restriction | The recommended minimum age of the viewer. |
Add file details
You can only provide a single stream for VOD The stream link is in HLS protocol which means you must provide an M3U8 link. Some Samsung Tizen (except TVs manufactured in 2018) and LG WebOS TVs need MPEG-DASH formats rather than M3U8. Streaming servers can stream HLS and MPEG-DASH at the same time and you can use a rule to automatically generate MPEG links for these devices.

| Languages | The languages used in the file. |
| Volume level | For a video file, the value by which the volume of the file is adjusted on an STB device. The general volume level of the STB is not changed. info This setting is only supported for Infomir Linux STBs. |
| URL | The URL to the file location on the streaming server. For example, tip On VOD > Movie list, the following icons identify the status of a valid streaming link for the VOD:

| Enable DRM | Enables DRM for the file. |
| DRM Group | The DRM security group for the output stream. |
| Temporary link | The encoding used to make sure the viewer has permission to access the stream. |
| Status | Indicates if the file is published. To make VOD content available to watch, files must be published. |
