Enabling NPVR

Network Personal Video Recorder (NPVR) lets end-users record content for later viewing. The maximum duration of the recording is configured in IPTV channels.

The NPVR service supports Flussonic version 23.0.5 or earlier. Infomir cannot guarantee functioning configurations on later versions.

To enable NPVR

1. Configure the DVR storage.
   Read about adding DVR storage locations
2. In your chosen IPTV channel, configure the DVR settings.
   Read about IPTV channels
3. Create an NPVR service package.
   1. Navigate to Tariffs > Service packages.
   2. Select + Add package.
   3. In Package name, enter a meaningful name.
   4. From the Service drop-down, select service.
   5. In the Available: section, select NPVR, and then select >.
      NPVR is now included in the package.
   6. In the Included in package section, next to the NPVR you added, select .
   7. Enter the maximum duration of the recording in hours.
   8. Select Save.
