Configuring DVR

Configure the DVR settings that provide Catch-up TV, Timeshift TV, and NPVR services to your end users.

You can also use service package settings to disable DVR for a channel included in a tariff plan.

To configure DVR settings

1. Configure the DVR storage locations.
   Read about adding DVR storage locations
2. Navigate to IPTV channels > Channels.
3. In your chosen IPTV channel, do the following:
   1. In the DVR section, configure the DVR settings.
      Read about storage details
   2. In the EPG section, configure the EPG settings.
      Read about EPG details
4. Navigate to Tariffs > Service packages.
5. Select + Add package.
6. In the Package name field, enter a meaningful name.
7. In the Available: box, select the IPTV channel you want to add to the service package.
   The channel is added to the Included in package: box, and the Access to TV Archive icon displays as Enabled.
8. Select Save.
   You can now add the service package to a tariff plan.

To disable DVR for a channel

1. Navigate to Tariffs > Service packages.
2. Add a service package, or edit an existing one.

3. In the Available: box, select the IPTV channel for which you want to disable DVR.
4. In the Included in package box, on the channel, set the Access to TV Archive icon to Disabled.
5. Select Save.
   You can now add the service package to a tariff plan.
