Creating DRM groups
To enable DRM protection, you must create DRM groups, which you use to configure DRM in VOD and IPTV.
To create a DRM group
- Navigate to DRM > DRM groups.
- Select + Add DRM group.
- In the Name field, enter a meaningful name.
- From the Security level drop-down, select the appropriate security level.
- In the Licence Key field, select the type of licence.
- Select Save.
You can now apply the group to VOD files and IPTV streams.
tip
One DRM group for each security level is typically enough. However, if you require each stream to have a separate encryption key but retain the same security level, you can create more groups.
