Creating screens
Screens allow you to organize VOD Video on demand content, and home screen content. A home screen is the first screen a subscriber sees when they access the streaming application. When you create a home screen, you can add any content. When you create a VOD screen, you can add only VOD content.
You can create multiple screens and use multi filters to restrict which screens are displayed for a particular streaming platform, device type, OS, account group, and so on. For example, you can create a home screen that is displayed only for Apple TV devices.
On iOS and Android mobile devices, screens can behave like tabs with sets of sections. Users can switch between screens to see different types of content, for example, by switching from Movies to Documentaries.
After you create a screen, you can add sections to organize the content in the screen.

Information
Make sure the vod.ini and screen.ini configuration files points to the correct instance of Elasticsearch. The URL is set by default, but if you have Elasticsearch running on another server, you must adjust the URL to use it for configuration storage.

Create and edit screens, and control which screens are displayed by a device.
To create a home screen

Information Available only for VOD content. Displays the screen as the main screen in the application. Other screens display in the top menu of the screen.
