Why is the channel I've added not available to viewers?
Ensure that you've added the channel to a service package.
Why does a channel support multiple streams?
MinistraPRO allows you to set multiple streams for each channel, to provide the optimal format or protocol for viewer platforms such as Tizen, LG, iOS, and so on.
Why isn't the DVR working?
DVR Digital video recording must be configured for each channel.
Each channel must also have an EPG Electronic programming guide.
What is the difference between a tariff plan and a service package?
A tariff plan can include multiple service packages which the account holder is paying for. A service package defines a grouping of channels or features.
Why aren't streams working on Tizen and WebOs TVs?
LG WebOS televisions and Samsung Tizen televisions (except those manufactured in 2018) do not support M3U8 format used by the HLS HTTP live streaming protocol. The URL provided to these devices must be MPEG Moving picture experts group-DASH Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP.
For VOD Video on demand, you can use automatic link generation to customize the URL that is provided to a device based on rules. For IPTV Internet protocol television channels, add additional output streams with Tizen and WebOS filters.
How to enable temporary URL protection?
You must enable temporary URLs in the MinistraPRO administrator panel and adjust the backend configuration.
