Using the Resellers dashboard for operators

Create a reseller, and manage the streaming services a reseller can offer to their subscriber accounts.

You can also use the Resellers dashboard to create subscriber accounts, and view the list of tariff plans that are available to you as an operator, and to your resellers.

Reseller setup

  1. Complete the legal and technical requirements

    Complete the legal and technical requirements for providing streaming services to a reseller.

  2. Create the tariff plans

    Create the tariff plans you want the reseller to access, and add service packages.

  3. Create a reseller account

    Create a reseller account, and add the tariffs plans the reseller can provide to end users.

    Create a user account to give the reseller access to the Resellers dashboard for managing their subscriber accounts.

To create a reseller account

Create a reseller account and add the tariffs they can access.

  1. In the Resellers dashboard, navigate to Resellers.

  2. Select Create.

  3. In Name, add a name for the reseller.

  4. Make the reseller active by moving the Status slider to the right.

  5. In Permitted Tariffs, from the drop-down, select the tariff plan to which you are giving the reseller access.

    Tip

    To select more than one tariff plan, hold CRTL, and select the tariff plans you want to add.

  6. Select Save.

To create a user account

Create a user account as an operator, or create a user account for a reseller to allow them to access the Resellers dashboard.

  1. Navigate to Users.

  2. Select Create.

  3. In Email, add an email address for the user. The reseller uses this email address to access the Resellers dashboard.

  4. In Password, add a password for the user. The reseller uses this password to access the Resellers dashboard.

  5. Make the user active by moving the Status slider to the right.

  6. In Roles, select one of the following:

    1. If you are creating the user account as an operator and want the user to manage reseller and subscriber accounts, select Admin.

    2. If you are creating the user account for a reseller, select Reseller.

  7. In Reseller, from the drop-down, select the reseller for which you are creating the user.

  8. Select Save.

    The reseller can now access the Resellers dashboard using the email address and password assigned to the user account.

To create a subscriber account

Create a subscriber account as an operator, or create a subscriber account for a reseller.

  1. Navigate to Households.

  2. Select Create, and add the relevant data.

  3. Select Save.

Edit a subscriber account

Edit your subscriber accounts, or the subscriber accounts of your reseller.

  1. Navigate to Households.

  2. For the household you want to edit, in the Actions column, select the pen icon.

  3. Provide the relevant information.

  4. Select Save.

View tariff plans

View your list of tariff plans, and the tariff plans to which your reseller has access.

  • Navigate to Tariffs.

    The list of tariff plans you can offer your reseller is displayed.

Subscriber details

Setting

Description

Login

The login for the subscriber account.

Account number

The account number for the subscriber account.

Password

The password for the subscriber account.

Status

The status of the subscriber account.

Information

You must make account active by moving the Status slider to the right.

Reseller

The reseller for which you are creating the subscriber account.

From the drop-down, select the name of the reseller.

First name

The first name for the subscriber account.

Last name

The second name for the subscriber account.

Middle name

The middle name for the subscriber account.

Phone

The telephone number for the subscriber account.

Balance

The balance of the subscriber account.

Comment

Allows you to add a comment about the subscriber account.

Tariff

The tariff plan that applies to the subscriber account.

From the drop-down, select the tariff plan.

Master pin

The account PIN for viewing restricted content.

Parent pin

The account PIN for restricting child viewing.
