Improvements

  • Increased the size of the logo container in the header to improve how channel logos are displayed.

  • Support added for configuring background images behind IPTV Internet Protocol Television channel logos. The disable_channel_logos_bg parameter is now deprecated.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the archive icon was displayed in the TV Guide without archive being enabled in the service package.

  • Fixed an issue where content descriptions were truncated.

  • Fixed an issue where, in TV Guide v2, program text was displayed in front of the program preview.

  • Fixed an issue where, in the lightweight version of the TV Guide (v3), channel logos were not displaying correctly.

New features

  • For Linux RDK-based STB Set-top boxs, from firmware version RDK-READY/3.01.01-a37-RDKR-866-540 the MinistraPRO application supports the function buttons on the RDK STB remote control. For example, using the remote control, end users can now access the settings menu, open the TV Guide, search for content, or play, pause and stop content.

  • Fixed an issue where default audio and subtitle settings were not applied.

  • Fixed an issue where selected subtitle settings were not applied, and were out of sync when watching Catch-up TV content.

  • Fixed an issue where the date did not display on recordings.

  • Fixed an issue where, after rewinding content in timeshift mode, selecting OK paused playback and displayed Play instead of Pause.

  • Fixed an unexpected text issue for long channel names in the EPG Electronic programming guide.

  • Fixed an issue where quickly exiting from Catch-up TV caused unexpected behaviour.

  • End users can now add a password to restrict certain NPVR Network personal video recorder content, for example, to prevent minors accessing unsuitable content.

  • Fixed a crashing issue when adding incorrect EPG Electronic programming guide information to the backend.
