End-user applications
MinistraPRO end-user applications are the platforms that allow end users to access and stream content on their device. End users can download the MinistraPRO end-user application that is compatible with their device, for example, an iOS or Android smartphone, a Smart TV, or a Firestick such as Amazon Fire TV Stick.
For a complete list of supported end-user applications, see the MinistraPRO end-user applications directory
End-user application configuration
You can configure a range of behaviours in MinistraPRO end-user applications. Some behaviours can be configured by using the settings in the configuration files and others need to be configured when the application is first built or updated to a new version.

Application launch and home screen
You choose what to display on the splash screen of the application, which is the screen an end user sees while the application is loading. For example, you can display your logo or play a video.

When an end user logs in to their account, you can display the login screen within the application, or you can add a URL to redirect the end user to a login screen in an external browser. This behaviour is defined during the application's build.
You can also define what screen an end user sees after opening the application by using the settings in the system.ini configuration files. For example, you can display a home screen, the application's main menu, or the TV channel the end user was last watching.

User interface
During the application's build, you can customize certain elements of the application's user interface to enhance accessibility and usability. For example, you can increase the size and weight of the text to improve readability for users with visual impairments.
You can also control the visibility of the Settings tab. For example, you might want to hide the tab for security reasons, or to ensure your end users have a consistent user experience.
The default language that is used for audio and subtitles can be defined using the settings in the l18n.ini configuration files. For example, you can configure the default primary and secondary language, or define which languages an end user can select.

IPTV Channels
When an end user is watching TV channel content, you can define the default behaviour for program previews by using the settings in the tv.ini configuration files. For example, you can set the preview to play when the channel is select, or only if an end user confirms that they want to see it. Your end users can also change the default preview behaviour in the application.
If a TV channel logo is difficult to see due to poor contrast with its background, for example, a white logo on a white background, you can improve its visibility by changing the background colour to create better contrast. Contact support for help with this feature.
Full-screen mode
MinistraPRO full-screen applications occupy the entire screen space of a device to provide an immersive experience. For an application in full-screen mode, you can choose if you want to display your operator logo in the top left-hand corner of the screen, or if you want to display an on-screen clock in the right-hand corner of the screen.

TV Guide and TV Channels templates
You can use preconfigured templates to define how content is displayed in the TV Guide tab and TV Channels tab of the application. For example, the TV Guide light template is ideally suited to lower specification televisions with more basic or minimal technical features. The TV Channels classic template is suitable for large-screen applications with enhanced features such as Samsung televisions, or set-top boxes.
Tip
Contact support if you want to discuss having a template configured for a specific television module.
