End-user applications
MinistraPRO end-user applications are the platforms that allow end users to stream content to their devices.
End users can access content by downloading the MinistraPRO end-user application that is compatible with their device, for example, an iOS or Android smartphone, a Smart TV, or a Firestick such as Amazon Fire TV Stick.
For a complete list of supported end-user applications, see MinistraPRO end-user applications directory.
End-user application configuration
You can use configuration files to define the behaviour of the MinistraPRO end-user applications.
For example, you can configure the following:
-
Startup behaviour: You can use the settings in the system.ini configuration files to define what happens when an end user opens the application. For example, you can configure the application to display the main menu, or the most recently watched TV channel.
-
IPTV behaviour: You can use the settings in the tv.ini configuration files to manage IPTV Internet Protocol Television features. For example, you can configure TV channel previews to play only if the end user confirms the action, or define how channel logos are displayed.
-
Language: You can use the settings in the l18n.ini configuration files to define the languages used for audio and subtitles. For example, you can configure the default primary and secondary languages, or the languages that an end user can select.

You can also use the MinistraPRO administrator panel to configure the visual elements of the application for Linux STB Set-top boxs. For example, you can change the logo to match your branding, or change the background of the home screen.
